I spent my early childhood, post secondary and early career in Central and Northern Alberta in the 80’s and 90’s studying Chemistry/Biology at the University of Alberta before moving out to central British Columbia to work in my chosen field. Calling home first in Kamloops in 1998 then Kelowna in 2006 with my former dental technology career of 22 years. This entitled me to practice and travel to acquire skill and experience around Sweden, California, Texas and finally in Kelowna and Vancouver. After accomplishing all aspects of that journey I decided to move in new directions 4.5 years ago, thus entering into advancing my studies in Poli-Sci, Economics and Philosophy later in life here at Okanagan College before settling on a career in real estate which I love tremendously. I’m thankful to have had the business experience and life development encounters to bring forth a conscientious negotiation talent in dealing with people whom are disposing or acquiring real estate in the beautiful Okanagan Valley.
Throughout my life’s journeys I’ve come to realize that what’s important and what isn’t. Knowing if you have the right agent is key. This is a very personal business that requires skill and knowledge but better yet wisdom in key situations. Someone’s home is usually one of the largest assets in a persons life. I’m the type of personality who really gets it in the sense of caring about what every dollar might mean to someone. great communication and empathy towards a transaction is key to making people realize that I have their backs. If I don’t have the answer then I won’t move forward until all stones are turned so that discovering what is important to you becomes important to me. Otherwise what’s the point of helping people in this sensitive business.
My personal life is usually filled with friends and energetic events. I love the water as well as the sky and use to find myself behind the film camera in yesteryear, so movies where a bid part of my past. Nowadays you’ll find me in gyms, riding on the lake and visiting wineries in the summer months. But my heart lies on sandy beaches listening to rolling waves whenever I get a chance to deek out and travel to warm destinations. I was the youngest of three with two sisters and thus my birth order gives me a certain edge. I love it this area and always foresee good things happening here and certainly have been here long enough to know the area well. There always seems to be something new to experience here so if you are new to the area or just relocating within please take the time to give me a ring and a chance to fire up a cup of coffee to learn about you.
